Earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and his Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Craig spent years as a third grade teacher, and later as an adjunct professor with South Carolina State University’s Honors College teaching Leadership Development. He has served as an education consultant for the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, and the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

Craig has been the recipient of numerous teaching and community service awards, which underscores his acumen as both an effective and inspiring facilitator and coach. Craig is also passionate about serving and uplifting his community. He is a mentor and counselor for children with cancer and volunteers with the Prisma Health Children’s Hospital and Camp Kemo Programs. He is the co-founder of Craig Q. King’s Celebration of Life Gala, raising funds for cancer research and programs that support individuals affected by cancer.

His self-ascribed motto in life is to capture, inspire, teach, and serve the people of the world! With his insight and knowledgeable approach, Craig’s guidance and facilitation skills keep him in high demand. When he is not teaching, coaching or volunteering, Craig resides with his family in Columbia, South Carolina.
